DisnEyland!
What do you call a 14 hour straight Disney trip with four adults, two kids and no stroller?! A BLAST AND A HALF!
We had no melt downs and the best time.
I had been prepping Ezekiel for about 2 weeks and he awoke that morning pretty jazzed
"We going to Disneyland to see Mickey and Donald and Minnie and Goofy and Pluto, too!!"
"Uhm, Mom. I need my Sophia shirt, because we might see her big."
We arrived to a giant.sea.of.people getting their bags checked. I had purchased our tickets online while we walked up to the gate and they scanned it right from my phone. Best decision.
Adventure number one: Princess meet and greet. This is the first time I have ever seen Ezekiel be shy, ever. He hardly spoke (!!!) and kept his hands in his mouth.
"Oh, mom, they were beautiful....I miss them, let's go back."
Everything was a whirlwind of fun and activity..and let me just tell you, the rider switch option, which allows you to go on a ride, have someone watch the kids, then have them instantly go on the same ride after you switch back the kids. With four people it was perfection because you can couple that with a fast pass! You don't need to get four fast passes! Genius
They are funny.
He was -so- excited about the Haunted Mansion, then he closed his eyes the whole time.
I can't imagine why!
He's pretty spooky himself.
My buddy and me <3
Escher's favorite was Small World. He kept pointing and saying "Dahhhh dahhh!!!" Which I can only come to the conlusion meant: "Mom, I love and appreciate you SO much, Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful place."
Ezekiel's favorite ride was Pooh's adventure or whatever it's called. He went 3 times and even proclaimed "LOOK!!! I'm like a honey bear!!!" While eating his macaroni and cheese with his hands and had it all over his face.
At the end of the day, we had ridden The carousel, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, The Teacups, Autopia, Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, The Pooh ride, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, Pinocchio Storybook Land, The Safari boat ride, It's a Small World and probably a couple I forgot. Safe to say, we did the damn thing.
Escher took about a two hour nap in the ergo, Ezekiel didn't sleep at all. He got tired at the end was ASSLEEP. until we got to the toy store. "MOM, I NEED MY CAT!!"
So we did that, too.
I am so grateful to these incredible people for being not just with but WITH me in my journey of motherhood and loving my kids like I do.
WE HAD THE BEST DAY.
This morning, Ezekiel said: "I miss Mickey. We need to go back to Disneyland" <3
