The Cart
When you have kids, gone are the days of just hopping in the car and jetting around the store real quick. And those hand baskets, forget about those. It's all about the cart. What I see in front of me at the grocery store has changed so much in the last three years, I wanted to give tribute to a seemingly insignificant part of life that is often overlooked because life is fast when you are at the store and it's just a necessity, after all.
This is the very first time I got to use the cart seat, with this giant eleven week old sitting amongst himself, I could not stop from giggling as I pushed him around.
Yeehaw!!
Then I had a baby bear in there! AHHH!!!
And a Turkey!
A skeleton
A super hero!
This giggly guy.
Cool, cool, cool.
Then something crazy happens and the cart gets empty and the kid gets "helpful"
After that, something really crazy happened and the cart got full again.
really full.
And that giant cart you see parents pushing around, the one with zero turning radius that you say you will never use
Yup, that happens too.
Watching my kids grow up in the cart. What a beautiful thing. Studying their faces as we stroll though the aisles and laughing with them. Cherish all the seemingly irrelevant moments because those are the ones that become the most precious someday.
